Good morning guys!
Our group will meet Wednesday morning at 6:30am in BancFirst lobby located at 2500 S Cornwell, Yukon. Try to make it and consider inviting a guest.
I think this weekend I experienced a great reminder of this wild ride we call life! No it WAS NOT the devastating loss suffered by OSU on Saturday..
Actually, it was the "winds of change" that blew through town on Sunday night. One minute it was about 60 degrees and the next almost 45…all in the span of maybe 1 hour. Hot to cold… (not real unusual for OKLA weather!)
This change made me think of something as I replayed that big gust of wind when it hit our house Sunday. BOOM!! Just like that change happened.
What did this remind me of..? Only that GOD NEVER CHANGES …
There is no BOOM with God... No gust of wind...No dramatic change of cabin pressure or temperature.
Nope, HE IS GOD.
The bible is pretty clear…
Hebrews 13:8…."Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever."
OR
James 1:17…"Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows."
We can trust this and have confidence that God never changes…"His love never fails…never gives up…never walks out on me…".
God is good!
